Bella made her professional debut as a child, originating the role of ‘Matilda Wormwood’ in the Australian production of Matilda the Musical, for which she received a Helpmann Award and a Sydney Theatre Award.
Since then, she has undertaken formal training in musical theatre, graduating with a Bachelor of Music Theatre, from the Elder Conservatorium of Music (University of Adelaide).
During her training, she appeared in leading roles including ‘Cinderella’ in Into the Woods and ‘Cheshire Cat/Tabatha’ in Alice by Heart.
